Telekinesis- Science, History & the Reality
Hi friends, after a lot of practical techniques expressed in previous articles on Telekinesis, let us get into the History and Science of Telekinesis also we will study on Psychokinesis and present latent psychic world.
To start with, let’s see history of the word Telekinesis and Psychokinesis:
During the world war time, 1914, there were a massive number of people who had taken interest in telekinesis and had gone on to coining the term "psychokinesis", in order to do away with the disbelief and disregard brought by the term telekinesis. The variety of tasks that the art can perform includes moving objects without touching them, softening metal, and levitating among many other things. The term telekinesis was now exclusive to the movement of objects rather than encompassing paranormal activities of psychokinesis.
Differences between telekinesis and psychokinesis :
Telekinesis is the ability to move matter through mental activity. This paranormal ability includes moving an object from one place to another, making an object spin, making it shake or vibrate, or even causing an object to break. Some even say that through the movement of particles in the object, a person who practices telekinesis may be able to heat and cool objects.
Psychokinesis includes everything under telekinesis. It also includes the ability to teleport, affect magnetism, control light particles as well as shape shift, and even heal those who are ill or injured by repairing damaged tissues.
We always read heard ancient Historical, Religious, Mythological stories, but did we analyze the how psychic abilities were involved then at that era.
Take Shakuni, for example. This key character in the Sanskrit epic “Mahabharata” telekinetically manipulates the dice in a crucial game to alter the outcome in his favor, kicking off the main plot of one of two the major Sanskrit epics of ancient India, as well as the Hindu age of Kali Yuga. Perhaps the first telekinetic, Shakuni reshaped history with his mind back in 400 BC.
The most famous telekinetic of them all—Jesus Christ. What was Jesus doing in the Bible if not using telekinesis to turn water into wine, heal the sick, and change a little bit of food into a lot? It's probably a good time to mention that telekinesis, later known as psychokinesis (PK), is an umbrella term for a slew of special abilities that include biological healing and the transmutation of matter, two abilities Jesus displayed in the above examples. Also bundled under the umbrella term psychokinesis is supernatural healing, which sounds a lot like what Jesus was doing when he brought Lazarus back from the dead.
Long before there was Gandalf, there was the telekinetic wizard Merlin, from the legend of King Arthur. According to the Arthurian legend of the 12th century, Merlin’s telekinetic powers were so abundant he sailed through the ocean in a glass house and, to really lay his telekinetic powers on thick, transported Stonehenge across the Irish Sea from Ireland to England.
Something prominent that we heard in our childhood was stories on “Witches” or of “Witchcraft”.
What exactly it meant: Witchcraft means practice of and belief in magical skills and abilities however witchcraft has always been looked down and linked to all negative things/ actions and perceived to be ill practices.
Historically the witchcraft label has been applied to practices people believe influence the mind, body, or property of others against their will—or practices that the person doing the labeling believes undermine social or religious order. Some modern commentators believe the malefic nature of witchcraft is a Christian projection. The concept of a magic-worker influencing another person's body or property against their will was clearly present in many cultures, as traditions in both folk magic and religious magic have the purpose of countering malicious magic or identifying malicious magic users. Many examples appear in early texts, such as those from ancient Egypt and Babylonia. Malicious magic users can become a credible cause for disease, sickness in animals, bad luck, sudden death, impotence and other such misfortunes.
Witchcraft can often share common ground with related concepts such assorcery, telekinesis, the paranormal, magic, superstition, necromancy, possession, shamanism, healing, spiritualism, nature worship. It is said to have been an ancient religion.
So how did the witches do their activities? Were witches awakened souls??
Psychokinesis / Telekinesis is something that has lived in that era however it has now got buried under name of unreal, fake and tricks.
Telekinesis went from the realm of the supernatural—objects being manipulated by spirits, angels, demons, ghosts and other such forces—into the purview of science.
In the 1930s American parapsychologist J.B. Rhine began conducting experiments, stripping away all the theatrics and voodoo associated with telekinesis and reducing it to its most simple terms in order to test it in a laboratory setting. In 1934, a young gambler came to Rhine and told him he could effect dice with his mind. The results of Rhine’s tests on the young man’s ability were surprising, and encouraging. Rhine went on to conduct further experiments to see whether a subject really could influence the outcome of tossed dice. By the end of 1941, he had tested more than 650,000 experimental die throws, with the results suggesting that psychokinesis was, indeed, possible.
The PEAR Lab, the US Army & the Man Who Wrote "Jurassic Park" Robert M. Schoch, a Ph.D. in geology and geophysics from Yale and an associate professor of Natural Science at a unit of Boston University, has written about his belief in psychokinesis. His book “The Parapsychology Revolution: A Concise Anthology” takes a deep dive on the subject, with evidence pulled from the Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research Lab (PEAR). PEAR conducted studies on extrasensory perception and psychokinesis starting in 1979. The lab’s founder, Robert G. Jahn, told The New York Times in 2007, “If people don’t believe us after all the results we’ve produced, then they never will.”
Scientists have found out that the power of mind can affect a variety of devices and liquid media such as highly precise chronometers, lasers, electrical generators of electromagnetic radiation, emulsions, colloids, water, etc.
In recent years after a number of experiments on telekinesis, Dr. Robert G. Jahn (the head of the Laboratory of abnormal studies at Princeton University) managed to prove that the human by his psyche can affect material objects. It was verified after thousands of experiments, which involved hundreds of men and women of all ages and professions. Subjects had to move a pendulum, placed under a transparent plastic cap. Five subjects were able to do it at any time and distance.
Technology for Telekinesis
Something eye catchy that I came across during research on the topic stated :
“Monkeys can be trained to move a cursor on a computer screen by thought alone, according to US researchers. This technology may enable patients with paralysed or amputated limbs to control robotic prostheses neurally.”
Healing using Psychokinesis / Telekinesis
Excerpt from Energy Healing and Psychokinesis By Jack Houck Presented at U.S. Psychotronics Association The 30th Annual USPA Conference July 17, 2004 said that:
“In the early days of giving the Psychokinesis sessions, I shield away from publicity about or doing energy healing. However, occasionally at the Psychokinesis sessions, someone would stand up and exclaim that he/she was healed. Similarly, on the questionnaires people filled out at the end of the Psychokinesis sessions, they would describe their illness that was healed during the Psychokinesis sessions.
It can be stated that the energy sensed in energy healing and that of Psychokinesis energy used for bending/moving objects is same and parallel.
If we compare the two, in Psychokinesis and in Healing, one connects one’s own self to the energy of the object/thing/person and perform requisite activity as per ones needs.
It is also said that one can repair themselves using Telekinesis, with the user's strength/mental strength and power over telekinesis defining the rate of regeneration. If they are powerful enough, they can repair themselves to molecular, atomic, or even subatomic level.
Telekinesis is an ability to move inanimate objects at will, to turn a compass needle, to move objects in the air, to bent metal items, to extinguish the flame of a candle at a distance. Among the psycho-physical phenomena: clairvoyance, telepathy, and others, the phenomenon of telekinesis is one of the most intriguing.
These paranormal abilities have long interested the human mind. They have been known to yogis, mystics of antiquity, who were believed to be able to materialize objects, to move them or to lift them into the air.
It is noticed that telekinesis, as well as other psychic abilities often appear as a result of injury, illness, stress, electric shock… It confirms an idea of hidden reserves of the human brain.
In the 20th century such abilities were observed in representatives of younger civilizations, who have never heard about yoga or any psycho-spiritual practices. What are these hidden psychic powers that enable people to affect material objects without direct physical impact?
Some researchers claim that the effect of telekinesis has to do with formation of powerful physical fields (telekinesis generates a strong electromagnetic field and acoustic signals with a duration of 0.1-0.01 seconds). Other researchers think that it may occur due to a mental effort (psychokinesis).
Some researchers claim that each of us is endowed with these “paranormal” abilities that once were completely natural and were widely used by people, but now they are in a latent state. Future experiments may help to reveal the nature of telekinesis. Till now we can only ascertain the existence of a special psycho-energy that provokes telekinesis.
Psychic ability is seen in many variants. While some have the ability to see the future, others are able to meet people who have passed on. Telekinesis is a psychic ability which refers to the ability to affect matter, space, energy, or time through your mind. It is a paranormal task which many people believe to be false. Quite commonly seen as a stage act, showmanship or performance, telekinesis and those able to perform it are quite often taken for granted today. Many people assume that telekinesis only involves moving objects with your mind. However, if you are a spiritually aware soul, you will understand that it is much more meaningful and deeper than just that.
Due to these malpractices, many people have lost faith in various psychic abilities, for example psychic reading. While it is still a slow process of regaining peoples' trust. By offering their psychic ability to benefit people, those who are gifted are proving that psychic ability is quite real.
